Apple Tree Medical Pregnancy and beyond education and support

At Apple Tree Medical we offer you and your partner the opportunity to take advantage of individualised pregnancy and parenting education.

Your Midwife, Heather, will help you to develop a deeper understanding of the changes to your body during pregnancy, how you can prepare for the birth of your baby, and what to expect in the postnatal period. Individualised education and support will enable you to make informed choices about your pregnancy, labour and birth whilst ensuring the information given is revelant and personal for your journey.

Postnatal Midwifery support at Apple Tree Medical is offered for up to 6 weeks following the birth of your baby and includes but is not limited to:

• Postnatal physical examination
• Support with preferred method of feeding including problem solving advice.
• Psychological and Mental Health support
• Self care and recovery education
• 7 day Newborn examination
• 6 week Postnatal examination including contraception advice and Cervical screening test if required.
• 6 Week Baby check and Immunisations.
